Your public library will have a manual covering your mechanical repair. Moreover, they have the automotive shops online software called AllData. It is the best auto technician database available today. You can print out specific troubleshooting procedures, diagrams, step-by-step istructions, and soforth. The typical person cannot afford to pay for this service, just automotive dealerships, etc... that is why the public library made it available to everyone and for free to view and print out material. This should Fixya! Good Luck!

SOURCE: how do I remove the rear three spark plugs on a

Hi, to change spark plug first remove coil over connecting clip ensuring to depress connector release. Next remove coil over retaining bolts. Remove coil over carefully directing coil toward driver side until rubber end able to flex out of sparkplug access tube. Remove sparkplug using sparkplug socket with rubber insert. Had to remove ratchet to gain enough clearance. At this point you should be able to remove sparkplug by tilting extension & socket toward drivers side of car. Then lay horizontal & remove toward passenger side of car. If unable to gain access in this manner you probably have too long an extension. Take care as not to damage spark plug coil over as they are considerably expensive.

Where are the six spark plugs located on a 1996 Toyota Avalon

Each spark plug has its own coil, which is mounted on top of the plug. You remove the coils to get to the plugs.

I have a 2006 avalon. i want to change the spark plug. I can see 3 front plug, but I can not get to 3 plug on the other side. What do I need to remove?

if it is anything like the v-6 FWDs I have, lay on top of the motor and contort your arm around the back of the motor and go by brail.

Not necessarily a solution to your particular model, but fairly consistant throughout the sutomotive V6 world..

Peace,

How do you change the spark plugs for a 1999 toyota avalon

This isnt a simple job, its best that a experienced mechanic works on this. You will need special tools for access to the rear head. All sparkplugs in the 1MZFE motor are in the center of the cylinder heads. There are COPs (coil over plugs) atop the sparkplugs, these must be removed first.**With Engine Cold** Front head: 1.remove Coils 2.use 5/8th plug socket and extension w/ratchet turn ratchet counter clockwise till plug is loose. 3. install new plugs (make sure the plugs are properly gapped). Rear Head: Intake manifold must be removed (you need a very large allen wrench for the intake bolts removal). Once this is removed follow the same steps as the front head. Here is some illustrations on the 1MZFE engine: http://www.turboninjas.com/camry/eg2.pdf
