I got a new case for my 2002 Buick keyless remote because the old one was broken where the keyring was supposed to attach. Before installing the board in the new case, I noticed a thick liquid on the board. Not knowing whether it was good stuff or something that had leaked in, I wiped it all off and assembled the remote. Guess what--none of the keys work. Now I'm wondering if the goo was a dielectric type which allows the plastic keys to change the capacitance of the printed circuitry just behind the keys. If that's the case, I need to know where I can get some of this stuff. Thanks!
