2000 Grand Voyager, 3.3L, has air conditioner problem: no cold air unless the relay is removed from the 'fuse' box and a jumper wire inserted between two contacts. I didn't see which two contacts, but, it worked. The air blew cold, though the battery would nearly discharge overnight. The jumper wire was removed to preserve the battery charge. A new relay does not solve the lack of cold air. Is there a sensor at fault? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
My guess is you have a short somewhere.

A new relay was purchased and did not solve the lack of cold air. The battery would discharge ONLY when the jumper wire was used in place of the relay, so I took it out. Perhaps someone knows which sensors that relay responds to.
The air will work (very cold, fully charged) when the jumper wire was used in place of the relay.
