The yellow colored button for the rear hatch popped out from under the dash and now it goes all the way in and hard to get out, how do I fix this easily?

The tabs that hold the button in are probably broken. The button on my 95 Trans Am had the same problem. Mine was broken in a way that let me use a zip tie behind the button to hold it in place. I'm pretty sure the button is available from the dealer for under $25 if you wanted to replace it. Pretty straight forward replacement. Few screws (7mm head) and a wire connection.

My rear hatch will not open with key, or remote control or the button used to pop open the rear hatch.

Thanks for using FixYa and welcome to the site. There is usually a cable that connects from the button to the latch. It may be broke. You may be able to get another key made at a dealership or by calling a locksmith.

.how to instal stereo in 1999 pontiac firebird. I

Honestly GM uses small clips and screws in the dash, I am have never worked on a Firebird, but all of GM's dash material is pretty generic. Make sure there are no obvious screws, and use a nice strong screwdriver to get in between the panels and lightly play with them and they will pop loose. Once they pop you will be like "oh". If you are extra worried about the scratches and stuff, take a piece of electrical tape and put it on the end of your screwdriver, Duct tape will work as well. Just be sure there aren't any screws or you will never move them. You can check out the clips once the panels are off. They are meant to be pryed off because they have metal teeth that stick inside the plastic.........almost like the same concept as a fish hook for catching fish.

Where is the spare for a 1989 Pontiac firebird

The spare is in the hatch and is a temporary spare (donut). Open the hatch and remove the passenger side rear compartment cover by turning the three "screws" half turns to release them. The jack and other tools are mounted behind the spare.

Rear window will not open or release , can hear electric release

you will need to check all the fuses first, then remove the pop window switch and check for power at switch, and power going through switch when button is pushed, this button is on the dash, if there power then you may have a bad release motor,if your blazer does'nt have a hatch release on the dash then you will have to remove the panel on rear door and test there .

1998 Firebird dash light and running lights...

There is a module under the dash that controls the Daytime Running lights or DRL. It might have something to do with it. You can find some more info here:http://www.chrisnovoa.com/166_camarofirebird-drl-module-color-codes

Also all that lighting goes thru the headlight switch. Try unplugging it and putting the fuse in. If it still blows its probably the module.
