Run it up finger tight and then tighten it as much as possible with a socket. Then let it down off the jack and torque it to specs.

I have a 1995 Legacy LS 4 cyl 4 speed automatic, 201k. I had the transmission fluid and filter changed on Thursday, 12/18/09. It was over full at the time I changed it. Got it back and it ran well for a day. Since Friday, it has on occasion lurched and shuddered trying to get into gear (out of first and/or second). I don't know what it means or what is causing this. Any help is appreciated.

My 1999 Saturn SL2 has a service engine soon light on. I had the codes read and two were shown. P0404 and P1404 both referring to EGR error or problems. I bought a new EGR valve and installed it but the problem of the engine revving (sp) and/or dying at stop signs remains. Can anyone help....? Thanks
