2006 STS drivers door won't open. Passenger doors opens as should. Inside drivers handle does open door. Charged key fob and that doesnt help.

The key blade is to open drivers door and glove box only, you did not specifie what model and year of car you have. on most smart key Nissans there should be a port to put the fob in if fob battery is dead

It actually sounds like the micro switch in the drivers door that reads the key fob is bad, if the key works and the fob works on the other doors and the trunk. You will most likely need to have the door handle replaced, they're not very expensive by themselves but it can be a lot of work. handles may be in good condition but the lever on the latch itself may have came loose. your mostlikley looking at dismantelling the apolsery with the door closed to rectify it.

This worked for me on 2008 Mk5 Golf, after the rear passenger door would not open fro outside or inside.

Hold the inside door latch open and keep it extended, then with the key fob open and close the door locks (still holding the inside latch open). Keep locking and unlocking the door, then it made a kluck and it released.

get remote checked wires might need re soldering or replace remote with new one. Cheapest place to purchase one is at a key cutting place or lock retailer.

Because the FOB is working the other two other things it can be are the fuses that control it, or the power lock control moduel. The fuses can be repaired easily, so I would attempt that first. The control moduel, however, I would take to a repair shop. Hope this helps! Please rate 4 thumbs up!

gently tug the passanger side door handle from the inside (with out opening the door) than try the key fob

I have a 2002 land rover discovery and my passenger front door won't unlock with the interior lock button on the dash or with the key fob. The only way to unlock the door is to pull the handle on the inside of the door. Is the actuator bad?

if you can open the door its the lock actuator from handle to lock that may be off need to pull off the door trim panel /please rrate my response thank you very much
