Yes they do. One is the feed and one is the return. They have fitted ends that go into your CSFI or MFI system on the upper intake manifold.

Both are fuel lines, ones is the supply line the other is the return line, you may not have to change it, for it is some what of a job. Try cleaning area thoroughly with emory cloth, and apply liquid metal to the area, you may have to shim the line to thoroughly apply to full damaged area. Allow 24 hours to cure.
Hopefully this helps you out.

1997 prism 1.8. where is the fuel filter located?

the fuel filter is located on the driver's side firewall in the engine compartment, just below the master cylinder.

With the carbureted engine sits vertically in a bracket with rubber fuel lines running to it.
With the fuel-injected the filter is held to the firewall with a metal bracket and employs metal fuel lines attached to the top and bottom of it. If not there........
Later models with the 1.8-liter engine placed the fuel filter near the gas tank, under the driver's side rear wheel well.
Hope this helps.
Best to you.

91 Buick lesabre fuel leak. What are the 5 metal lines running below the driver door? The larger center one is leaking fuel.

Only two are fuel lines, the main feed to the engine and the return line from the engine to the tank. One other gas tank line will be the EVAP line for sending gas tank fumes from the charcoal canister to the engine's intake manifold.
I think the other lines would be your brake lines to the rear wheels.

YouTube has many videos on repairing rusted fuel lines. Most people use the lines made of plastic in their repairs-takes special fittings though. These plastic lines have become very common now. In fact my '92 LeSabre has mostly plastic lines.

Gas leaking front passenger side of ford windstar

Have you looked under the hood? (I don't mean to sound like a wise guy.) There are two shiney metal pipes one on the front of the engine and one on the rear as you look at it from the front. They run from right to left on the engine. These are the fuel racks that feed the fuel injectors, (assuming that you have a 3 litre or larger v6 engine). These can concievably rust at the left, (passenger), end and blow gasoline out the passenger side. It is also possible that gas could be leaking anywhere on the engine and roll off the passenger side of the engine or if the fuel line on the driver's side has rusted over a cross member of the frame and possibly roll to the passenger side. Also, there is pretty good pressure on the fuel line when it is running. If there is a rust hole on the right side of the line itself, it could spray to the passenger side, hit something and drip off from there. These are just possibilities. Good luck. Jeff M.

Change fuel filter

Locate it by following the fuel line from intake manifold.
If it is an injection car the filter should be a metal can with an input, and a output with goes to the intake manifold ..
And it should be located prety close to the engine.

Rough idle and bucks while driving

1 Open the hood. Locate the fuel pump, mounted to the driver's side of the engine block, approximately midway between the front and rear of the motor.2 Loosen the fuel-line retention nuts on the pump with a tubing wrench turned in a counterclockwise direction. Carefully pull the fuel-inlet line and the outlet line from the fuel pump, being careful not to bend the metal lines. Have a rag handy for any fuel spills when removing the lines.3 Loosen and remove the two fuel-pump retaining bolts with a socket and ratchet. Place the bolts aside for installation of the replacement fuel pump.
4
Pull the pump straight out of the engine block and remove it from the engine bay. Scrape any gasket reside from the mounting surface of the engine block with a gasket scraper.
5
Place a new gasket over the mounting surface of the replacement fuel pump and hold it to the mounting surface on the engine block, lining up the mounting holes. Thread the original retaining bolts through the pump and into the engine block and tighten them.
6
Reconnect the fuel lines to the pump and tighten the fittings with a tubing wrench. Close the hood.

Leaking fuel from pump.seems to be a little hole on under side of pump just below the pressed metal join.

If this is a mechanical pump located on the side of the engine then what you are most likely seeing is fuel dripping out from the weep hole in the pump. Fuel should not come out of here and it means that your fuel pump diaphragm [inside the pump] has developed a small hole and is beginning to leak fuel and should be replaced. Be very carefull as any external fuel leak is a potential fire hazard.

Unsolved Problem!

Have you looked at the gas or gas tank. It could be full of water. Your specific pump could be sitting up high where the gas water line settles after a period of time. Try some dry gas and run the tank out.

Repair pin hole in metal fuel line for Pontiac Gram Am Car.

I would suggest cutting the line in two and bridging the two pieces with a piece of rubber fuel line hose. Use a hose with an inside diameter within which the metal line will fit snuggly. Use a clamp on either end of the hose.

1993 toyota pickup

Hi! The fuel return hose is the rubber hose that comes from the side of the fuel pressure regulator, the metal thing on the pass side of the engine fuel rail; it screws into the fuel rail, and has a vacuum line at the top, and a big tube sticking out of the side. The rubber line then connects to a metal line, which runs towards the back of the engine. Repost if you need more info.
