Are the motors and transmissions interchangable between 1989-1993 Toyota 22r 4x4 pick ups? How about other parts?

it undoes easy if you use a 1/2 " impact gun
or you can remove the inspect cover under the converter and lock the flex plate using a screw drive in the teeth

May hav to size it by ur own sight. Probly b complications that takes xpert to resolve. Make sure the computer gos w new motor

I would order a Chilton manual for your truck. eBay is a good place to get one ($25).

Wiring diagram for WHICH SYSTEM? For WHAT KIND of Toyota? What YEAR? What MODEL? What ENGINE SIZE? Which TRANSMISSION is it equipped with?

sounsd like the fuel presure reg beed more vac it is the bulbus thing on the end of the fuel rail if it doesnt get vac it doesnt open up to allow fuel to bypass

it could just be the switch,, or more likley to be the resistor burned out or the reostat? (same thing realy)

If you have a 22r carbed then all 22r carbed engines from 1981-1995 will interchange. You may need to use sensor out of your old engine however. The 20r,22r,22re,22ret all have the same mounts and tranny bolt patterns. how ever there are lot of differences. you can swap from a 22r to a 22re but you must also swap the entire vehical wiring harness to do it right. if you have a 3.0L i would keep the same engine. some people have swap to the tacoma 3.6L but that is a expensive swap not exsactly bolt on so to say. If you have a 22re then stay with the 1986-1987 22re because the newer 22re use different computers, electronics ,sensors and more.. Same story with the 22ret. I hoped this helped.
