Hello, I have a '93 chevy blazer that will not start. It turns over, but is not sparking. The fuel pump is pumping, we took the distributor and rotor to autozone and they said it was fine. After we unplug everything it might start once and then have to try and do it again. Could it be the ignition? What is the problem? thank you.
Could be the ignition module like the other guy said, but I had one that did the same thing and it was the pick-up coil on the bottom of the distributor shaft. a relatively simple fix, but best to let a mechanic do it if you've never done it.
Chances are 70%........it is the ignition module...it sits in the dist.
Could be a bad coil....but....20% it's that.
10% ....other
Change both and go with 90% to drive away!
