Did you retract the brake shoes? Remove the rubber plug from the top of the brake support plate and rotate the brake shoe adjustment screw (star wheel) upward with a medium size flat tip tool like a screwdriver or brake adjustment tool. That will retract the brake shoes from the drum. That should help get the drum freed up. There is alway the old sledge and block of wood to use as persuation if necessary. Hope this helped and best wishes.
Testimonial: "drum does not have the rubber plug to turn back brake - My other car;I worked on it for couple hours. My mechanic got it of in 30 seconds. Thanks"
Get yourself a brake adjustment tool and back the brakes off; or just keep on beating it with a hammer til it breaks free
Testimonial: "thanks - tried the beating part - chipped a piece off -- I find that with rusty car bolts you have to get nasty. "
If there are no threaded holes to screw a bolt into to push the drum off....give it a few sharp hits with a hammer.Wear protective googles.
Testimonial: "thanks - tried it -- perhaps not force full enough!"
