A common problem is the ignition switch.
When it does not start....with the car in park or neutral jump it at the starter....or check for power at the small wire at the starter while trying to crank the engine.
Power in the small wire while trying to crank means 99% starter problem......no power means 99% switch.
The switch is available in the after market parts stores.
