Need to reset "Service Engine Soon" light. I replaced an O2 sensor and the local parts stores say it's illegal for them to reset that light, so I want to do it myself. Vehicle is 1999 Dodge Caravan with 4 cyl. engine.

disconnect the battery for a minute reconnect start it up light should be off thanks pierre

try unplugging the battery for 60 seconds this should reset the default code
