That's usually the sign of a clogged or restricted condenser or expansion device or both. It's not just a switch. The only way to know is to do more diagnostic work to nail down the problem
The drain hose is probably plugged. There is a hose from the back of the heater box that drains the condensation out under the car. If you blow some air into it from under the car it will usually break the blockage loose.
it your back window its a common problem water is running down frame around the frame and into the back seat, pull up the back seat and pull back the carpet to confirm that this is the path of the water
If it just condensation there is a rubber hose that got disconnected. Look up where its leaking from. Its a little hard to see but you can remove glove box.
1: Change your fuel filters and bleed the air out of it. 2: Check all rubber hoses for loose hose clamps and cracks or leaks. Almost certainly in one or both of the two points above.
you my need any part of the a/c system, compressor, condenser, hoses leaking, evaporator, any thing could fail in a a/ system , my recommendation is to go to your mechanic and get a diagnose and them you can do it by your self
IF --its clear and dripping out of your car when the A/C is running its
most likely only condensate--Water--this occures as the air
conditioning systems collects moisture on the cooling coils
(evaparator)the fan blows across the coils causing the condensate to
thaw. Its like when ice melts and the water runs off.
