check cat converter or for exhaust leak --https://www.obd-codes.com/p013a -- as to coolant temp --sensor may be failing and the overheating temp is keeping the a/c from running or may have popped a fuse
Call Toyota customer service number that is in the owners manual or look it up online. Have the VIN of the car available and they will tell you if you have any open recalls. It is likely that the airbag has been recalled.
After researching this it could be the BUS WIRING HARNESS problem and you are not the only person experiencing this. Check to see if there are any recalls on that vehicle. click on this link Home National Highway Traffic Safety Administration NHTSA and do a search for recalls, there is also a place on the website to enter your vin # and see if any of the recalls were done. right now I found four. but without knowing specifics I cannot say if your particular vehicle is affected. You can also submit a complaint with your problem while there
Here's a link to 5 recalls on the 2003 Grand Am. The third one down has to do with certain replacement models of Delphi fuel regulators, which can leak and cause fire in the engine compartment. (But it sounds like it doesn't apply to original equipment regulators that were not replaced).
Then it does not apply, recalls go by vin number on all makes and models, just because there is a recall that doesn't mean your particular car's VIN has the problem. Contact the dealer for a read out of all Recalls or call GM customer service with your make model and VIN code..
a hard question.... why ask, because the op guide said to check it every 50k or rumor, or? some cars btw have NONE. some engines. so tell me why you want to find it? this tells me lots. stalling?
what model car, most cars are on the intake manifold some are well hidden. there are 4 caddys which one. there are many engines which size? ill pick one at radom to show that anyone can do this. online, at alldata dot com. i pick 03 CTS on line now... 2 engines used 1 car CTS ,usa. i see page with 10 engine views. ok the engine matrix of the CAD shows 7 engines of which only 3 have EGR. the 2.4L shows none. L4,L5, and L6 the V6/and V8s section show EGR.
so what do you have. ?
i also looked in the CTS cad, DCT table. not one EGR fail in the lot. next?
There is a TSB on this issues if your having ignition lock issues.
