The car will not idle

The car will not idle and will shut off unless i put my foot on the gas and hold it steady for like 30 sec. Also unless the radio is turned on, the gas meter will tell me I have no gas in the car, even if I have filled it up.

The idling problem is usualy caused by an air intake leak, maybe on the idle valve.
The electrical problem seems to be a bad earth, possibly on the radio. It's more likely if the radio is a self installed one.
