The tail lights 10A fuse burns when I turn on the

Nissan Pathfinder 1997
The tail light's 10A fuse burns when I turn on the lights. I checked the bulbs, they are OK. Can somebody tell me what else is connected to this fuse, causing the burn of the fuse?

Check all your lights, third brake light, side markers , parking lights, check for water in housings...

tail lights don't need relays as the amperage is very low. Only headlights and fog lights use relays.

2001 Nissan Pathfinder keeps blowing fuse for tail lights every time I turn on lights it pops the fuse its driving me crazy. Please help.

Follow the wires from the tail light and look for wires that have rubbed through the insulation. Also check anywhere where those wires travel through a hole in the bodywork. That is where the dead short is. And check the wires behind the fuse box.

Absolutely the problem is blown tail light 10a fuse, underhood passenger side fuse block. Just fixed same problem

on older nissans dashoard and tail light is on same fuse. can you please check fuses on drivers side under your steering wheel? check #16.

You might need a new Brake Light Switch, it is located by the brake pedal.

i would check the connectors under the dash they have a tendancy to get loose are get hot and short a fuse this is most likely the problem...please rate this....
