Hi, most cars when bonnet is open look down on top of lamp you will see 2 bolts which need to be undone, undo ellectricle plugs that go to lights then wiggle light out, you could also look on utube which will probberly have a vidio you could follow, all the best, hope this was some help.
Thank you for your very kind advice.
I have tried what you described, but can't seem to wiggle the assembly off.
It seems to be held in by another ( Nut , clip, or bolt ) down inside the engine bay. Along the inside of the front guard.
Cannot see what's holding it . ( scratches his head )

SOURCE: How do I remove the headlight assembly
if you have the regular headlights(not the HID) there is a TSB for that at the dealer and they will fix it for free as long as you are under the 36000 miles,,anyhow to get the headlight out you need to remove the front bumper cover,,pop the hood, remove all the pushpin that hold the plastic panel on near the front area then remove the plastic cover,,,,,then there are some phillips head screws along the front of the top of the bumper cover take these out,,,,now remove both front wheels,,remove the bolts that hold the inner fender liners inplace there are some in front and under the lower bumper cover take these out too,,,,then under the front bumper cover at about the middle there will be 2 bolts i think 10mm remove theses to,,,,now where the side of the bumper cover meets the fender inside there are 3 bolts on each side remove these i think they are 7 or 8mm and then pull the bumper cover off,,,if you have fog lights disconnect the plugs,,then you will see all the bolts holding the headlight in take them out and then it comes out,,,,i know its alot of work just for a headlight ,,,,

Buick says that the front bumper has to be removed in order to remove the headlight assembly. Crazy, I know.. I found that you can remove the air filter box on the drivers side and squeeze your hand in a small hole to replace that bulb. The passanger side is nearly impossible. You can remove to nuts holding the fuse block in place and move it over a little and squeeze your hand in a little hole and reach it. Plan on two to three hours to change one bulb.

You can and it is not difficult, there are two bolts holding the top of the headlight to the body just over the radiator and a couple of screws holding the indicato in place, but you can access the back of the light fitting without doing so . It is a bit of a squeeze on the battery side.

There is a little aluminum stick in the assembly holding it in. On the top of the headlight twist the stick and remove it. It will look like a tent stake. Remove this stick and then the head light assembly will almost fall out.
