Probably but I would ask the dealer. They didn’t change those vehicles much over the years.

It should, but take the 2009 transmission control module with it just in case there were any changes internally.

SOURCE: auxilary power, electric windows, cigarette lighter and radio not working

Since all fuses are okay, I would start my trace from the fuse box and pick the easiest wire to trace which would probably be the lighter or aux. Check for any breaks in the line or any lose connections. It seems like a harness may be disconnected or cut.

I have an 01 P71 interceptor. Had the same problem. The float in the tank was stuck towards the bottom. I ran it low on fuel, and it stayed there.

The temperature gauge sending unit is located in the front section of the intake manifold, just to the right of the alternator on the 4.6L engines. Got this from autozones repair manuals

I put a 2003 transmission out of a crown vic into a 1998 crown vic then wired the vss into the output shaft sensor little did i know that made my speedometer reading double how can i fix this will swaping...

I doubt it.
The computer for the 2003 would not follow all of the wiring patterns in the 98 harness not to mention the chip would be different.

The dash warning light system displays a "wrench" symbol

Hello,

If you have the wrench light on your dash, that means you need to take your car to the dealership and have the car diagnosed. The computer is sensing that something is wrong with your car and the only way to tell is to visit your dealership and have them use a diagnostics computer to read the problem.

I hope this helps. Thanks and have a nice day.

Transmission leaking

I have a 1988 Ford Crown Vic....on mine, there is a small leak at the back end of the transmission, where the drive shaft connects....

Is this where your fluid is leaking from?

My cousin is a ford mechanic...he told me that he sees that a lot on the vics of this age.....not because a seal is bad, but because of how the tranny is made....

but im not sure...

hope this helps somehow...
