I have a 2003 escalade ext. when i turn on my blinker it flashes normal. when i hit the brakes there normal.however when my blinker and brakes are are the lights go dom and both lights flash and at a faster sequence????i just bought the truck and dont know how long they have been like that.Thanx for any help

    could this be due the trailer wiring plug if it wasnt wired correctly? or if its corroted. i have a feeling this truck got wet at one time..i found mildew under the back seat and the carpet is pretty dirty looking.

    my truck did the same exact thing..and when i was using cruise and turned a sgnal on it would kick the cruise off..turned out it was all due to a bad ground..follw the taillight wire under under the truck..ground is on drivers frame rail near the back bumper..i took it off cleaned with sandpaper and the blinkers,brakes and cruise all work fine now.

THIS PROBLEM MAY BE A DEFECTIVE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH OR A DEFECTIVE BRAKE LIGHT GROUND, THE BRAKE LIGHTS ARE GROUNDED NEAR THE SOCKETS, YOU WILL NEED TO PULL THE TAIL LIGHT ASSMEBLIES OUT TO CHECK THESE GROUNDS TO THE SHEET METAL.

some have bleeder screws on the abs control module if this does not help to remove the air i have used syringes filling them up and pressure filling the caliper and air returns to master cylinder takes about 3 ounces of brake fluid per side.

My 2002 Escalade EXT when the rear end drops or hits a bump or today I could push the gas and then hit the brake and it would make a loud da-u-nt sound like when the truck is rocking I think it was coming...
A suspension specialist will easily pin point the issue. It is something like bushes worn out in control arms.

2003 escalade ext. conected my trailer (1992) to the 7 pin conecter and the brake and turn signals do not work. is this a wiring problem or diferance in configuration between a newer and older vehile.
How are they not working? This is a problem if the trailer has a different set up. Such as the brake and turn signal filament being the same. If that is the problem go to a camper supply store near you and buy and install the convertor box that is made to correct these problems.

I just changed the brakes all the way around a 2003 escalade and now the service brake system message appears......how do i reset that?
Check the ABS hub reluctor ring to make sure it was not damaged in any way when you put everything back together. Also check all the wires to make sure none are crimped or disconnected. Lastly check the brake master cylunder for fluid level. Sometimes after retracting the pistons forcing more fluid into the master cylinder will cause this meesage. If the fluid level is to high simply remove some.

2003 Escalade ran outta gas, now engine won't turn over. Vehicle Stability Control Light is on.
try to fill out the tank and turn the key to the on position several times ,but don't crank it yet ,then turn it all the way over ,that should fill the fuel lines that were emptied.

2003 escalade will not start after running it out of gas
My wife ran out of gas once and I had to bleed the fuel lines of air that had been sucked in before gas would travel through the lines. Kinda like you would have to bleed air out of hydraulic brake lines.
