Call the Nissan Dealer, give them you VIN number and ask them if they have a latch wait for their reply then ask them what year models does the latch fit. They will tell you something like 1993 through 1998 but, if they say 1993 through 2003 then you know it will fit your vehicle. Take out one of your ignition wires.. Take out one of your spark plugs.. Use one of the compression tester they have at Auto Zone, O'rellys auto.. You most have more than 8 pound of pressure if you less somthing wrong with that particular piston.
