My 1994 Volvo 940 turbo has no power to the coil Where do I need to look ?

The diagram I have shows the coil being powered directly from the ignition switch the same wire powers one gate in the ECM and a radio suppression control just so you know in case you run into the splice. TAKE FRONT COVER OFF(AFTER REMOVING FAN, BELT S, PULLEY AND FAN SHROUD).THEN REMOVE CRANK SHAFT PULLEY. WHEN COVER IS REMOVED YOU'LL SEE 3 SPROKETS, SUGGEST TO BRING CRANK TO TOP DEAD CENTER UNTIL YOU SEE ALL 3 MARKS FOR THE TIMING BELT. REMOVE BELT/INSTALL NEW AND REVERSE PROCEDURE.

I am a volvo tech and your problem is fuel pressure ralated and i had same problem in 1995 850 turbo and the fuel pump was the problem and a used one is around 35.00

take off pipe going to the intercooler from the turbo see if oil is found and clean then other pipe from incooler check it .if oil is found .drain oil in intercooler .you have an oil leak from the turbo this is why you will have light on far left of dash

I am getting no spark to my coil 93' 940 turbo.


In or around the distributor. Looks like a small black box with a rectangle plug, or a black and silver box with three oval plugs, depending on which type of distributor you have. You will need to know if it's a Bosch or Regina dist. when you go to purchase the replacement part. Your parts store may also be able to test it for you once you get it out.

I had a issue with my cruse control. Look under the hood. The the wire to the diaphragm for the crues might have popped off the throttle pully!

ok, this used alternator has bad diodes and will need them replaced. sometimes, certain technicians wont rebuild correctly. they just look over this vital part. i would return this alt.

Sounds like you need an O2 sensor. You need to have it scanned, places like AutoZone will do this free of charge.
