If it works fine you probably just need to have your ac recharged.

I have a 2000 pontiac grand prix with a digital climate control system. The heat quit working, it doesn't blow out any heat. Now that it is warm outside the air stopped blowing out any air. The digital temperature on the climate control is not correct. When it states that it is below 30 degrees on the ext and it is warm outside the air wont be cold. Once it starts going above 30 degrees the air gets colder. Today the blower stop working all together. Was told it maybe the climate control unit was bad. You can hear the door opening/shutting when you switch the temp from cold to hot. But there was no heat blowing out whatsoever in the winter time. Could you please give me your opinion on whether or not it is the climate control unit or something else?

Friends car(2001 pontiac grand prix) 3.8 v6.started running hot,so he replaced thermostat. didn't help. so replaced water pump. helped very little. heater hoses cold to touch and blows cold inside. worked...

yes, but it's designed to drive the air out as long as you open the cap and run it until it's hot, keeping the radiator full. Eventually the air will come out and heater hoses should get coolant.

2005 Grand Prix heater works fine when blower is off-air coming thru vent gets hot; once blower is turned on air turns cold. Why?

Sounds like a clogged heater core- insufficient coolant circulating through heater core, and as soon as you blow air past the core, it get cooled off.

Ac vent problem

Damper/flap for driver's side is probably stuck. Try moving the selector from cold to hot several times. Also, move the recirc/outside air control if the previous doesn't work.
