what rate? the money rates or fuel rates.
is this some rental question?

so finding (KM) answer here can be hard.
we still use imperial measures here, (yes, daft)

who pays fuel?
who pays service, maintenance
who pays insurance. and how much. (its expensive )
what did car cost host. (that tells you rate of depreciation)
is this for profit, ? if yes add that, your call, no rules on earth that.
knowing all that, you can compute cost to the host
the buffer that with profit and intangibles, like cost of recovering a dead or wrecked or flooded out vehicle.

or look you any car rental agency.
read the pages on costs.

you never said if the fuel cost are the only charges
or just 1. of many.

How much is the cost of fuel to and from the destination? How much is the other vehicle maintenance....tires, oil changes brakes cost? Finally what is your time worth? All these costs can be calculated down to the KM. Add it all up and charge each passenger the amount you come up with.

You will most likely have to have a dealer order a different inst. cluster that is set up for miles. This is not a warranty condition and you would have to pay to do this. Dealer will call order in with VIN number and KM and the cluster exchange company will calculate how many mile it equates to and preprogram cluster.

a 2012 should be under warranty of some kind..send it in for warranty work or replacement..

debra... i can understand your frustration and all i can offer is advice not really a solution. first save all your bills in case there is a recall. second and i'm not sure if that vehicle is still under any kind of warrenty... demand that the area rep be involved. (the area rep is basically a representitive of the car company). i did look up the recalls just to see if that was involved... and also the TSB's (technical service bulletins) for that vehicle and there is no mention of glass.

check this website frequently to see if there has been any recalls for your jeep. also you may wish to file a complaint about the issue.... enough people complain the more likely a recall will happen.
