We're changing out the TTC and 1&2 solenoids. The year make and model is 2000 Poniac Montana. I don't have much time to get it all done, for I've missed work and can't afford to pay labor costs. Pretty savey on cars just never worked on transmissions to much, to obtain the know how. How do I remove and replace these parts after removing the pan, gasket and filter????!!!!

SOURCE: Exploded transmission 48 hours after ATF flush

I see no correlation between the two events.  Things just happen on an old car.  I'd question spending money to fix the 11-year old car, or replace it with something newer and less miles.  I'd replace the car.

SOURCE: Changing the starter solenoid on a 2000 Pontiac Montana

On your van the solenoid is attached to the starter. If you can get a solenoid separate (i don't know if you can) then you will need to take the starter off and remove the solenoid (2 screws holding it on) and the wires (on red and one black i believe) pay attention to which wire goes where because you don't want to reverse it on the new solenoid.

SOURCE: how much will it cost for a mechanic to change oil pan gasket on my 1998 chevy blazer 4wd big v6 engine?

Gasket = $35 (permatex rubber)
Labor - my manual says 3 hours.
You'll have to be responsible for figuring out the labor price per hour depending on where you are located.
In MI, a garage is about $50/hr, and dealership = $85/hr
CA might be $95/$150/hr.

Parts are minimal on the job - its all labor.
Figure in about $20 for shop supplies... gasket remover, sealant, rags, etc.

SOURCE: 2000 camry. blown head gasket (daughter drove car

Yes, you can, but not exactly recommended. If you are going to go that deep into it, then might as well do everything else. However, being unemployed tends to have a negative impact on the wallet....

I suspect it is more than just rings. I think that the walls have been scored badly as well. You may be able to use a borescope to take a peak into the cylinder through spark plug hole. Move the piston to bottom of stroke, and see what you can see. If scarred, much work will be needed. If hatches look alright, then you might be able to get away with just rings.

What kind of compression are you getting on #1 vs #2? This also might be a blown headgasket into an oil passage, or the head (perhaps block?) is ever so slightly warped in this area.

SOURCE: to change the tcc solenoid can it be done by

The transmission will not have to be removed for this, however, the valve-body assembly will need removal. This can be accessed by taking off the pan on the transmission.

2000 Pontiac Montana gas gauge stays on full and doesn't move the only time I've seen it moved was when the front of the van was jacked up what could be the problem?

Probably a bad sending unit in the tank,or maybe a broken tank baffle.(Either way, you're looking at taking out the tank to find out.

Transmission swap what can i use?

They run in 3 year pairs on almost any vehicle. 2000-2003 or 05-07.
I recommend same model like montana. Otherwise the bolt pattern or balancer may be a tad different. You can always measure the bolt pattern. If you can find a venture with the same motor size, then you may be in luck.
