can not remove rear brake rotor on 2500hd caliper is removed thought a floating rear the rotor just came off is it something with the parking brake

If you have the parking brake system located in the center of the rotor, (the parking brake cable goes inside the "hub" area, and not to the caliper) you have the internal parking brake shoes. The problem is that the drum part gets a rust lip built up and it's very difficult to pull off the rotor because it hangs up. Usually forcing it off stresses some of the hardware inside, but there is not much of an option.
