SOURCE: starts then dies
hi the condition you describe sounds like it could be the ecu s coolant temp sensor which is common but the second lady discribes something a little different if fuel injector additive you put in the tank clears the problem the it re-occurs then you would need to flush the fuel tank and change the fuel filter refill and then put the injector additive in to clear the lines and injectors and if you run your tank low then the pump picks all the **** up off the bottom of your tank don,t run the vechicle low on gas why i would check the sensor first is after 10-15 mins is when the sensors kick in yates210456

If that is carbureted, and has a mechanical fuel pump, try running a length of fuel line from inlet side of pump to a gas can that has fresh, clean fuel, and if it runs good that way, you know problem is most likely in the tank. Removing the tank & cleaning it out is best solution from there. I'd even be tempted to add a small bottle or 2 of Lucas Fuel Sytem Cleaner to first fill in clean tank, just to help clean lines as well as carb.

b)Does it die after you put it in gear after restart?
c)Doesn't restart at all?

If a & c engine main relay or fuel pump
If b torque converter clutch solenoid
