If the seal is not holding then you have a problem with the sealing surface and will need to lightly file both ends to make it match and seal. you also need to put a drop of refrigerant oil on the seal before installing.

I have mitsubishi galant model 1996,there is problem with A/C cooling.it was working fine when i parked my car.after some time (3,4 hours) i switched on my car and turned on A/C, but the air is not...

Check first if the AC compressor engages it may just be an issue with the relay. It would be best if you have the refrigerant checked. Most likely you may either need more and if ever there are other issues such as leaks. It can be detected during check.

2005 misubiche galant 3.8 miss fire on no.4 cyl replaced plugs oil on one plug

you need to replace your valve cover gaskets. There's oil seals under the valve cover gaskets that leak causing oil to get around your plug wires.

My window foggs up when my defroster is on.

If the fog is slippery and not water vapor you may have a pin hole in your heater core. Try adding a stop leak to seal the heater core leak. If not, try pushing the AC button. On most foreign cars the AC compressor does not stay on long enough on defrost to clear the windows.

the ac drain is more than likley stopped up, they tend to get clogged with debri not allowing the condensation from the evap. core to drain properly, thus allowing it to leak into the floorboard.

Water leak on driver's side - 2000 Mitsubishi Galant

I was a manager at a Mitsubishi dealership.

There was a "secret warranty" on certain Galants where the firewall seam would fair and leak water into the interior. Call your local dealer to see if your vin qualifies. The fix is to simply reseal the firewall crimp seam with silicone sealant.

Alternatively, sunroof equipped cars sometimes get the drain channels clogged in time. Make sure to clean drain holes and use forced air if necessary.

Lastly, some cars have heaters with pollen filters. If those filters become clogged, condensation can accumulate and overflow into the interior.

If any of these solves your issue, please rate my answer

Water leak on mitsubishi galant 1999

the probable cause is the drain for the ac coil is stopped up for an a/c leak inside.
if it smells like anti-freeze, the heater coil is leaking and may need to be replaced.
