Question about 2002 Mazda Millenia
Pinging is at idle and goes away around 2000 rpms.sound like the noise is coming from the timing belt area.i had a friend that is a mechanic at toyota come look at it and he thinks it could be the idler pulley hitting the motor causing the noise until a certain rpm and goes away when it gets to a high enough rpm. I have a 2002 mzda millenia 2.5 no supercharger. it started doing this yesterday. any help would be appreciated
Check your timing chain or belt might be loose and or your belt tensioner is not working
