How to replace dash bulbs on 1991 Toyota Previa?

have to remove the dash , there will be screws along the top of the instrument panel , remove them remove the steering wheel cowling , screws underneath , more screws holding instrument panel then gently pull pane forwards , may have to dissconnect various connectors as there not very long , bulbs twist out replace is just reverse but make sure you push home the connector as dont wont to take it out again for a loose connection

1991 Toyota pick-up while driving began to smell wires burning. When stopped could smell strongly on the passenger side under the hood. Did not see any wires burned, but the gauges on the inside stopped...

Look under the dash on the passenger side and under the hood more closely for burnt wires to the computer. If the computer has burnt wires to the instrument panel, then you found the problem.

Hello My dash lights on my 2002 Escalade wont come on. Please Advise? No aftermarket stero and the dimmer switch seems to work fine.

I have the same problem. Hope it is a simple fix. I have been reading about this and it seems we will need the entire instrument panel replaced.

Fuz box

Your vehicle has 3 fuse panels. Instrument fuse panel is located under the dashboard, left of the steering column. Passenger side fuse panel is located behind passenger side kick panel. Main fuse and relay block is in engine compartment, near battery. There does not appear to be a "reverse light" fuse. Do all you other lights work properly(headlights, brake lights, turn signals, running lights, dashboard lights, etc.)? If so then there is a problem in the reverse light circuit, OR the bulbs are burned out. YES, I have seen both burn out at same time. Hope this helps a little
