Question about 2006 Chrysler 300
Doesn't shift to drive , also tried rocking back n forth looks as if it is locked or something
Could be shift interlock cable/solenoid

There seems to be a rash of shifter cables locking up. (defective)
If you can move the shifter to the right with the brake pedal depressed but not down then more than likely a defective cable. Note you can try moving the shifter without the brake pedal depressed then press it and notice if the release solenoid is working.
