Pulley making noise

You have several pulleys with bearings in them. The Serpetine belt rides on several pulleys and there are slight differences in the size of those pulleys.

Usually you take off the Serpetine belt and turn each pulley to detect roughness. Then get the appropriate pulley off and replace it.

Sometimes water pump pulleys also make noise as well as Alternators.

Serpetine belt and pulley replacement, idler pulley looks bent, does it maybe shift to allow belt to go on easier?

The pulley moves in and out to put the proper tension on the belt. If it looks bent, it is bent. GM idler pulleys routinely need replacing before the belt does.

Belt removal instructions (and routing information) may be found on a sticker under the hood. I have posted a picture of the diagram below if these instructions have faded. The routing on the left is without the AC.
