First, I recommend taking out the stereo, which gives you more room/access. You'll need the removal tool which you can buy at a parts store or online (which is usually cheaper) or you can just bend a piece of coat hanger. The older the car and the longer it's been in the more difficult it may be because the prongs holding it in place may have gotten old. Once you have the stereo out, you can see how to remove the climate control. Be careful removing the plastic connectors because they have a tendency to break when they get old. I find a toothpick can lift they away without braking anything like a screwdriver sometimes does. Also, read your Haynes manual and Google a YouTube video for addittional pointers.

SOURCE: were is the fuse panel on my lincon navigator 2003

I had same problem. Fuse panel is underneath passenger side right kick panel. Remove tan panel on right wall at floor and it's under there. {Really inconvenient place to put it for the Owner, I think}.

SOURCE: lights on instrument panel are out can't see

Do the head lights come on properly? Mess with the dimming switch. My friend has a Thunderbird with the same issue and I have narrowed it down to the dimmer switch being the issue.

SOURCE: Not passing smog check

bank 1 is pass/side exhaustpipe/converter bank 2 is on the driverside, this car has two converters, so you have 4 oxygen sensors, one before and one after the converter on each side, so bank 1 sensor1 is pass/side before the converter, bank 1 sensor 2 is pass/side after the converter, then bank 2 sensor1 is driverside before the converter, before means starting at motor, then bank 2 sensor 2 is driverside after the converter, heres a diagram to help, i hope this is helpful.a9203dd.jpg33c9cf6.jpg

SOURCE: On a 2003 Cadillac Deville,

Do you mean the backlighting for the buttons,or the digital readout,or both?If it is the backlighting,it should be just a bulb.It depends on a couple things of how easy it will be to replace the bulb.Where it is located, how the dashboard is built, and how much you know about access to the dash.It should be somewhat easy to get at since these are normally in the center or lower half of the dash and you should not have to take the whole thing out just to replace the bulb. Please let me know completely what is out on that panel. This should noway be just a fuse as it would cause more lights to go out.Greg

2003 bmw x5 climate control doesn't have power: what would cause this?

No power to something, no matter what, normally means a blown fuse. Check the fuse to it. The fuse panel cover has the diagram on the under side of it or would be in the operator/repair manual.

Stock radio

removed the panel below the radio, clips hold it in and you have to yank it out without damage. then there are two 8mm head bolts behind that panel facing up. they hold the whole frame for the audio and climate controls. then push on that frame with your fingers to pop out the whole panel that the radio and the climate controls are mounted to. then simply disconnect the harnesses and remove the climate controls(three screws and the dials pop off). now you can get to the four 8mm bolts that hold the audio unit in.

2003 suburban with rear air, 27K mi, rear ac and heat are fine, but the front air diverter doesnt seem to work. I switch between defrost, face, and floor modes but no changes. I replaced the climate...

If it is a mechanical switch that you turn this system works by vacume it could be the vacume supply hose coming from the intake manifold is either off or broken.

You could also have disconnected it by mistake when you changed the climate control. Good luck

might be in the center counsel on the passenger side by his feet per say or it may be on the driver side by feet on either left or right side of driver...dont really think it would be under hood thats where the MAX fuses usually are...actually your manual in the glove box should say where it is if anything
