Question about 1998 Ford Taurus
My transmission is sliping into neutral while driving once it cools down it does not slip till it gets warmed up again and the car dies after it idles for a while will not start back with out a jump start but the alternator has a lil magnetism to it
Check fluid in transmission with the car in park AND the engine running AND the engine warmed up. Could be low fluid in the converter.
Also could be a vacuum leak. Check ALL vacuum hoses for disconnection or cracking throughout the engine compartment AND especially any going to the trqansmission.
