SOURCE: where is the coolant temp sensor located on a 1995 chev monte car

Im not sure what motor you have, but the best way, usually, to find the coolant sensor is to trace out the upper radiator hose to the thermostat housing. Once you find this, look around for a two or possibly three wire electrical connector in close proximity to the thermostat housing.

If you can clarify which motor your have I may be able to find something more specific.

Where are the temperature sending units located in a 1992 Buick Century

On the 2.5 4cyl. The temp. sensor is located on the
transmission side of the engine below the coolant outlet. The temp sending unit is in the head in front of
the coolant outlet. On the 3.3 v6 the temp sensor is on the right side of the engine below the alternator.
The temp sending unit is to the left of the sensor.
Hope this helps.

1992 Ford Taurus with a 3.8l V6 the cooling fan

The Taurus has Two temp sensors. One for the dash, which is isolated, then one for the PCM, it also controls when the fan relay should actuate. Its a 2 wire sensor, just above the thermostat. If you remove the harness from that sensor, and the cooling fan comes on, at any temp, (should take 5- 10 seconds) then thats your fault.

Cant find temp sensor on 1992 saturn sl2 need to change

On the SL2 (DOHC), there are two coolant temperature sensors located on the left-hand side of the cylinder head, near the upper coolant hose. On the SL2, the upper sensor with ONE WIRE controls the temperature gauge in the dash. The lower sensor with TWO wires provides input to the computer. They are not interchangeable. Here is a tip you will need a 14mm deep socket or box wrench. The new sensor may require a 13mm socket or wrench, depending on the manufacturer. Good luck and hope this helps. Keep me posted.
