Question about 1999 Lincoln Town Car
There is a screw hidden on the bottom of the panel. There are also two screws behind the pull strap. You have to take off the pull strap with a star driver then use a phillips to take of the panel. Be sure not to pull the panel, but lift it up and to either side. Before it comes completely off, there is a latch that you will have to lift.

SOURCE: driver side window off track
2 sets (total 4) T30 Torx screws need to be removed.
The 2 holding the interior door handle grip / cup.
And then behind where the cup is, there are 2 more, that secure the door panel to the door.
FWIW, there are also 2 philips screws. One at the top, near the mirror. The second at the moveable door handle latch.
Lastly, of course, the standard "pop" sort of fasteners, around the perimeter on the 2 sides and bottom of the door panel. Also, there are 2 light blue plastic alignment posts (that do *not* fasten).
When re-assembling, make *sure* to properly catch / engage the door panel's top black plastic lip into the 3 hidden metal "U" holders, at the very top of the door panel.
