Replacing tranny in '93 chevy cheyenne

This is the third time. the front pump went out before i could run it both times. .when i bolt it together is there supposed to be a gap about 1/4 inch between the torque converter and the fly wheel? in other words, when i go to bolt it up it pulls it up about 1/4 inch or so. could this be the reason both other replacements were bad or is it just dumb a_ _ luck? should i replace the fly wheel?

Why would a 93 chevy Cheyenne just stop in tha middle of me driving it and thn wont start amymore the key turns over and acts like ita out of gas but.

Because something is defect. Or blocked.
Fuel line can be blocked or have an air bubble in it. But there are 1000 possible causes, why an engine does not run any more.

Check tranny fluid on manual1992 chevy cheyenne

There is a plug on the side of the transmission with a square hole in it (3/8 inch) passenger side usually. Remove it, if fluid doesn't come out of it, ad some until it does. It is full then. Auto parts stores will tell you the grade you need. If it's been a really long time. On the bottom there is a same plug. Drain it and fill.

A blowen fuse will cause that, most all dash lights and taillights on cars and trucks run off the same fuse.
