Bad pick up coil in distributor. Also. Could be crank sensor that's. Is bad. Or ignition module. ... or it has a bad p,c.m ( brain )make sure all fuses are good and relays

its really a 2TR-FE engine, true name, and knowing that name
allows you to google and find this all out fast.
all cars, all engines, get true name then search.
in usa its used on the Tacoma. so lll uses that.(risky)

The cooling fan is controlled by a temp switch in the bottom of the radiator, try6 replacing this switch.
