dont blame the idiot,we all make stupid mistakes without thinking and iam no exception,remove door trim and oil the solonoid with a oil can not a silly sunday mechanic spray and let it soak in as its working but i think its just a bit sticky with wear and dirt ingress hence it locks but doesnt unlock which might need a bit more power,oil the whole lot lock and all

dont think you will find one as evan the new haynes books dont have wiring diagrams only block diagrams as with the wiring diagram you can bypass the factory immobiliser.which means less work for the dealer when the immobiliser cuts in for what ever reason

Does the key pad on the door light up? Are there any tears in the key pad numbers? Does the key pad lock the doors?.
There are no fuses directly for the pad.. The key pad is linked directly to the RAP. module. If the locks work from the FOB the fuses for the Module are good. Chances are the pad is no good especially if it don't light up. The RAP module is above the driver side foot well, directly above the accelerator pedal . Hope this helps.
