Question about 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Engine temp goes hot when A/C is running. A/C does not cool properly.
Possible loose AC belt but more likely a water pump issue. Putting the AC on puts more strain on the water pump to circulate coolant which also would impact the AC performance.
