Question about 1992 Ford Tempo

1 Answer

I took my car to a disreputable place so they'd pass inspection (shame on me, I know) and the next day it breaks down. It is like the battery is just drained. Had battery and alternator checked couple times, places, then bo't new battery. Broke down again. Does it abolutely HAVE to be the alternator even tho checked out okay? I'm not much of mechanic but due to lack of funds must fix myself

Check the earth strap from the battery to the bodywork, if the alternator has checked ok, then it sounds like an earth fault

2003 Vie Saturn computer wiped out and can not pass VA inspection. What to do?

You need to drive normally for two weeks and then return for testing. They should have explained that. The data is only removed if you disconnect the battery or have had a flat battery.

Bike not starting

Do a plug elimination test, take the lead off one plug at a time and turn over the engine. If one particular plug being disconnected makes no difference then that plug is probably not firing. In this case try replacing the plugs.

Had the alternator and battery replaced in my 2001 Dodge Stratus but when I went to pick up the car it wouldn't start. They checked everything and replaced the battery again. I took it home and it...

Change repair shop ASAP !!!

Taking 10 days and NOt finding the failure is shameful! Go to another place. Evidently, some circuit is draining the battery.

Wanted to know if 2004 chevy malibu classic has a battery hold down?

Glad to read your post, but I'm quite sure that every car out there that comes from the manufacturer has and must have a battery hold down to secure it, without the hold down the battery would just move around loosely, and could cause a fire or an electrical short. Nowadays most vehicle inspection stations will not pass your car without the battery hold down. So before you take ownership of a vehicle make sure the hold-down is in place.

Screwed on break job?

Sound like most of your money went into his pocket. I use only the best brakes (most expensive pads on my stuff and my customers) usually purchased from a dealer. O. E. is the best (Original Equipment)
