If the engine will idle after it warms up, the problem is likely the TPS (throttle position sensor). If the engine won't idle under any conditions, you have a fuel problem that could be due to a bad fuel filter or clogged fuel injectors (if equipped). Post back with any questions and best of luck.

moving gas gauge shouldn't be related to your stalling problem.

I would look at a clogged or faulty EGR valve, but if the check engine light is on, take the vehicle to an autoparts store and have them scan the computer for fault codes. Most parts stores will do the scan for free and this will eliminate speculation. Sure hope this helped and best wishes.

1993 jeep grand Cherokee Larado stalling for no reason. we have looked or changed coil, fuel pump, relays, cam sensor inside distributor, this thing still stalls out, but starts right back up.

Crank sensor. Its on the passenger side on the top of tranny. Will have either 1 or 2 10mm bolts holding it on. And a plug. My 94 had the same problem. It would run fine then you shut it off and all it woild do is crank. Wait like an hour and it will start back up. New crank sensor and it was fine

My 1968 gmc has a 305 from a 78 camaro in it.automatic turbo 400 trans.and Holley 600.-the truck keeps stalling the when i step on the gas pedal fast.but will start back up fine.and after a burnout...

Sounds like carburetor issues. Check your accelerator pump. Do you get a good stream when you throw the throttle open? On the stalling issue, the carb should have a dashpot that keeps the throttle from slamming shut.

Malibu keeps stalling after i start it up.

Check to see if it still has spark after it stalls...if it does spray starter fluid into the air intake and see if it will keep running as long as you give it starter fluid. If it does...you have a fuel problem, pump, filter, regulator.

My 95 VOlvo 850 Tubo keeps stalling on me!

It's the solinoid. It's placed alongside the distributor. A coil about 1" around, and 2" long loosen, disconect the cable and lead coming out of it, repalce, and it will run fine then.
