Locate the throttle body and on the side match your new T.P.S sensor, its usually held on by 2 screws, torx kind, so you might have to buy that screw driver since it is not common. remove and disconnect the old one and install. if its adjustable you need to set it, with a voltmeter. if its not just make sure it engages and slides in fine.

Where are the throttle position sensor and the mass air flow sensor located on a '87 buick lesabre limited ???? thank you.

find the air filter and work your way towards the top of the engine. There will be a large black rubber hose that goes to an aluminum colored square shaped block with four bolts, one on each corner of the square shaped block. there will be a cable going to the throttle. on the opposite side of the cable will be the throttle position sensor with a plug in harness with two or three wires. The mass air-flow meter should be just behind the T.P.S.
