1995 nissan quest radiator fan went out going up hill and smoking

Smoking from where? Under the hood, the pressure exceeded the rating of the radiator cap and the coolant was blown into the recovery tank. It may have fillled the tank and sprayed coolant on the engine making it smoke under the hood. You may have blown a radiator or heater hose, again if the smoke was coming from under the hood. If it was coming out of the tail pipe, you may possibly have blown a head gasket.

On my way home from school my radiator hose busted and smoke was seeping through the cracks of my hood then i had the hose replaced and now my temp bars are all the way up and my car says ac-off what can...

It may have overheated before it blew the hose.
If the engine temp sensor is reading that the engine is hot, the computer will disable the ac since it produces even more heat for the engine.
You would need to find out if the engine is in fact running hot and why.
It could be a sticking thermostat, or the water pump, or the radiator cooling fans or other causes.

Smell of coolant and smoking

smoke from exhaust could be cracked head or blown head gasket but normally when one of these two things happen it runs crappy if it runs at all smoke from under the hood you may have a pin hole in your radiator or hose or even heater core put some stop leak in it watch for puddle of anti-freeze under the hood and on the ground keep a close eye on your tempature gage and a close eye on you anti-freeze levels and dont add fluid when the motor is hot this will crack your heads good luck.

Busted radiator hose, engine knock

Its possible you hydro-locked a cylinder with coolant which would have bent a connecting rod. When a cylinder gets liquid in it, the liquid will not compress so something has to give.
The head gasket could be leaking to cause the leak into the cylinder.
Hydro lock could also bend a valve.

My 1996 honda civic ex overheated this afternoon. I noticed smoke coming out of the hood on the passenger side. I got off of the highway to find a service station but when I stopped at a light the check...

I would check all my hoses, top and bottom radiator hose, and all heater hoses.. check for breaks. Check all clamp connections on hoses. I think this may be just a worn hose that busted. This would not be serious nor expensive. The smoke was probably steam from the overheated coolant. If you stopped it when the light came on ,there should be no additional damage.

Car overheated. Still runs

did it steam from under the hood or was water running from it when you cut it off? If water ran from it when you cut it off in the middle like the front that is your water pump. if steam was coming from the hood you could have a busted hose. if radiator is boiling hot could be your thermostat. if water is not holding in your radiator then you may have a busted radiator or blown a gasket. if your motor is still good do not drive if it runs hot you can blow a head gasket or the motor and to get it fixed a lot more money and you don't want that. as you put water in your vehicle make sure it is running while you are doing this. hope this helps

It overheated, smoking and water pouring

If water poured out you probably busted a hose or radiator sprung a leak. Sounds like that and a bad thermostat or water pump went out.

It smokes alot from the hood

check your raditator hoses, water pump and your thermostat. your engine could be overheating in which the radiator fluid can't get to it to cool it off.
