Change the fuel filter for starters and let me know if that doesn't fix it.

I have 2002 jeep wrangler at speeds between 50 nad 55 mph I get a vibration in the the front steering. I changed the steering damper and had the tires rotaded and balanced and i still have the problem.

have the mounts checked on the control arms, alot of times the can bend slightly due to a "curb" check. Call a local 4X4 shop and tell them you are experiencing the "death shake" they should know what you are talking about. That was the problem on my 02 TJ, i had replaced everything when i noticed that the angle on the control arm looked a little off.

Where's the air bag shut off? -97 jeep tj

There is no shut off. You have to pull the fuse behind the glove box! I know I got one.

My 97 Jeep TJ will sometimes start and other times not.Doesn't enen turn over. at first theres no power to anything and the more I crank the ignition it slowly gets power back and will eventually turn over...

Had similar problem on 98 Jeep TJ, sometimes go sometimes turn over but would not start, turned out to be a corroded wire the the pcm deep down beside the battery, once wire was repaired it was fixed. The week wire gave some volatage but not enough to start it every time. Good luck!

How to wire Hella 500 lights to a 97 Jeep TJ. I don't have the instructions

I have a Jeep ZJ, and the installation is very easy; this is the result...

For the installation guide, you must check all the wire connections...

1. Power Dependent (work with high light)

2. Independent Power (with switch)

I'm using the second system. Or, maybe you can use the Instruction Sheet Driving Lights for Hella 500.

I hope help you with this (remember rated this help) Good luck.

97 TJ 2.5 WILL NOT GO OVER 60 MPH AND RUNS FINE.

You may need to replace the fuel filter. Have you checked to see if maybe the exhaust system is plugged? To check the exhaust have someone rev the engine while you feel the exhaust coming out of the tail pipe. You should be able to feel quite abit of exhaust from 1 1/2 to 2 feet away when engine is reved to say 3000 rpm. If you can't feel the exhaust then disconnect the exhaust pipe in front of the converter and drive the car. It will be a little bit loud but you will know if the exhaust is plugged or not. If it goes faster than before then it is plugged. Hope this helps.
