Take out all speakers since they are bose and by changing the radio, you will have to run new speaker wires also, find the power wire in the dash and splice it for power, also diconnect the DCM box next to the antenna in trunk, that is your radio not the unit in the dash.
that just changes channels and plays tape and CDs, this means you will have to also run a antenna cable to the new deck. (i left mine out because I dont listen to radio) there is more to know if you want to use an amp. if you want to know more, email me and I will send photos and help a little more. dmaboo@msn.com

I usually buy a wiring harness adapter off of ebay.com or BestBuy.com to get wires that are labeled to work with the aftermarket radios available for your Buick Regal.

They don't cost much and can save a lot of headaches.

Radio has no power.

The radios they put in are not that great alot of times they just go out you'll probably need to replace the radio with an aftermarket but check all hook ups before you change may just need to be pushed in alittle

No digital dash

Check the fuses for the dash, but I'll bet it will need repaired. Usually on Cadillac the radio is in the trunk. The part in the dash is just the control to the radio and it is wired to the cluster. If you try to wire an aftermarket stereo to this plug that went to the radio controls, it shorts out and burns the cluster. Hopefully it blew the fuse before it burnt the cluster but usually not.
