Question about 2005 Volkswagen Jetta
Does anyone know where I can find a fuse diagram for this year model? I just purchase the car (as is) and didnt know that it wasnt working until I tried to hook up my GPS to the charger / lighter or w/e you want to call it. Its still under warranty but hoping its not anything stupidly major for something so small and if it would even cover something like that. but anyway, was thinking maybe its a fuse but the owners manual didnt come with the vehicle and the fuse panel doesnt have the diagram on it 4 some reason. Any answer would be of great help, thank you.

Look under the steering in the compartment for the manual. Look to the right, fuses are n the back of the compartment.

You need a dc current test light to see if it is getting current, or plug in a cell phone charger to see if you are getting current. Our it could be the the lighter insert, a burnt out element and not the socket.
