How do i fix this problem ? clanking high pitch sound coming from intake.

have a compression test done as it may be a loose valve seat insert
balance shafts are just shafts and unless you have done a bearing for the shaft it will not make a clanking sound as there is no pressure applied to the shaft
basically a balance shaft is like a flywheel that takes vibrations out of the motor

2003 pontiac sunfire makes clanking sound from engine, sounds like valves? lifters make more of a ticking sound...right?

valves do not normally make a sound unless the seat insert is loose in the head. This will be revealed by a compression test. I suspect that a clanking sound is much lower in the engine --like a big end failure.

98 ford mustang shift stick started making a clanking sound yesterday when backing up

If it makes a clanking sound when you switch from neutral to drive or neural to reverse than i would say you have a u-joint issue. If it you get noise when you accelerate and coast then your rear differential is out of alignment

Clanking sound when turning to the right

might be the CV axle , if it is clanking when turning right it would most likely be the drivers side axle. Also make sure all the jug nuts are tight....I had them come loose one time and the rim would wobble and rub when turning.

Loud clanking noise in gear if the clutch is not engaged

Almost sounds like a throwout bearing problem. Either way, bring the car back and make them fix it. It will be covered under the warranty so dont let them try to convince you otherwise.

Clanking sound when you turn it on-how do u clean lamp covers

The clanking sound is turn relay operation sound , try to turn the car without
the turn indicator and turn , if you hear sound then there is the problem in the car , if do not hear it then not a problem...

Good luck...
