Sounds like you might have a bad relay somewhere. Also your body control module could be out.

door locks and cig lighter ARE NOT on same circuit. Maybe lighter is broken and blowing fuse.

I SHORTED OUT CIG. LIGHTER NOW DOOR LOCKS,POWER CONTROL FOR MIRROWS,COUTESY LIGHTS AND CIG LIGHT WON'T WORK ALL FUSES ARE OK NOW THE CRUISE CONTROL STOPPED WORKING

You must have a blown fuse. Did you test each fuse with a ohm meter? Keep in mind you must remove each fuse from the fuse block to test it. If you touch the meter leads to the two metal bits on top of the fuse without removing it from the circuit, you could get a false reading or damage your meter. Also, a blown fuse doesn't necessarily have to look charred and black inside, depending on where the element broke. Your vehicle manual should have a diagram showing what each fuse is for. This might save you the trouble of checking every fuse, and confirm the fuse was put back into the correct slot.

Sounds Like You Have An Exposed Hot Wire Somewhere. I Would Try And Change Cig Lighter Wiring Harness. Be Sure And Check Your Aux Outlets So That There Are No Exposed Wires. They All Run On The Same Fuse Hope This Helps!!

Power windows & lighter wont work but fuses are good

first what year is the car? now check the fuses with a volt meter . if the fuse is good i would check the back of the cig.lighter center connector for 12 volts and the side of the lighter for a good ground.if all is good the lighter is bad very common. next the windows, i would go to the window relays and check for (2) powers and a good ground.i have seen both motors go bad at the same time. need to remove door panels and check the voltage at the motor.

remove the ashtray and reach behind the cig lighter you should feel a nut you take the nut loose and the cig lighter comes right out just unplug the wires and plug them on to the new one. and if you get your new cig lighter first you will get the idea of what i am talking about the nut

Just died on the road

This could be related to either your fuses (courtesy, headlamp, etc) or possibly a bad alternator. If you get it started, go under the hood and, whilst running, remove the positive battery terminal. If your alternator is good, the truck will stay running. It sounds to me like a short could have caused this problem, I, having had a similar problem would reccomend checking your cigaret lighter and making sure nothing has fallen into the socket. I once found a penny in mine and before I did I was constantly blowing fuses. The Fuse you will want to check first will be your courtesy fuse. should be a 20-25 amp.
