Question about 1991 Honda Accord
Is the 2.2 engine in a 1991 accord wagon an interference engine, if it is how can I tell if the valves are bent? It appears that the two intake valves on one cylinder were depressed when the timing belt broke. The car is a 1991 accord wagon.
Chances are slim. Just align your marks, install a new belt and without any sparkplugs, turn the engine by hand. If anything's hitting, you'll feel it.

Always crank the motor over by hand before trying to start with key. Bent valves wont always lock the motor up, but jam up inside the head as well. Get it together and try to start it after cranking it 3 or 4 times with a ratchet, dont force anything.
