Question about 1998 Nissan Frontier
98 frontier 95000 miles - sometimes my speedometer jumps to 40-45 miles per hour as soon as i start driving, sometimes it reads about 10 miles per hour below the speed i am acually driving over 40 miles per hour. Sometimes i can do a quick/short term fix by banging on the dash but it usually only works when i am going over 50 and for a limited time. It seems to be a common problem for this make and model but i can't find a permanent solution.... any one fixed this themselves?
Yeah you may need a whole new dashboard because the whole panel circuit for may be messed up.
